The app talks directly to your LinkTap gateway and Shelly sensors on the vehicle’s network.

Hosted cloud

Sign in with an account and the app uses the Guardian cloud at api.boatrvguardian.com. The paid plans apply here:

  • Settings sync — each vehicle’s configuration syncs across all your devices; set it up once on your phone and it’s there on your laptop.
  • Sharing — invite others to a vehicle with roles. Inviting people needs a paid plan on that vehicle — Basic shares with up to 3, Premium up to 10. Being invited is always free.
  • Tier features — valve control (opening the valve from the app, run programming, live flow metering), automatic remote telemetry, hosted history, extra alert destinations, and SMS escalation, according to the vehicle’s plan. (The cloud flood-shutoff fallback, away push notifications, and closing the valve from anywhere are not among them: all three run on every tier, including Free.)
